About the roleA lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning and conduct assessment in traditional, new and innovative ways to a diverse range of clients. Lecturers will also be involved in the provision of consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients. To support this process the TAFE environment offers comprehensive industry based Training Packages and an underpinning quality system that provides a framework for delivery and assessment. To be successful in this role you will have a Teaching Qualification (or equivalent). The successful applicant will also have at least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position with an ability to facilitate and encourage learning. It is preferred that applicants already possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher recognised teaching qualification) or can demonstrate progression towards the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
