This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage accounts payable and receivable processes, handle payroll functions, and provide administrative support to the team. Working closely with the Service Advisor and Workshop Manager, you will contribute to maintaining efficient operations while supporting our commitment to customer service excellence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial AdministrationProcess all accounts payable including supplier invoices, expense claims, and recurring paymentsManage accounts receivable including customer invoices, payment tracking, and follow-up on overdue accountsConduct weekly bank reconciliations and approve invoicesCommunicate effectively with clients and suppliers to resolve accounts-related queriesCompile financial data and reports as requested by ManagementProcess weekly payroll and manage related documentationMonitor and track business expensesMaintain organised financial records and documentation for audit purposesAdministrative OperationsMonitor staff leave requests and schedule leave in relevant calendarsProvide backup for reception duties, including answering phone calls and greeting customersManage the accounts email inbox, ensuring timely responses to inquiriesCollaborate with the Service Advisor and Workshop Manager to support workshop operationsContribute to the development and improvement of administrative policies and proceduresAssist with administrative tasks to support the Workshop Manager and other team membersMaintain accurate records and filing systems for business documentationCustomer ServiceEngage professionally with customers via phone, email, and in personAssist with customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate team members when necessarySupport the team in providing exceptional customer service in our shop environmentQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEssentialMinimum 3 years experience in accounts/admin rolesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accurate data entry skillsExceptional time management and organisational abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to prioritise tasks effectively in a dynamic business environmentSelf-motivated professional capable of balancing multiple responsibilitiesHighly RegardedQualifications in accounting, business, or administrationPrevious experience in the automotive industryUnderstanding of small business operationsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESProfessional and responsible approach to handling financial informationProactive problem-solver with a positive attitudeReliable team player who can also work independentlyCommitment to continuous improvement and process efficiencyGenuine interest in contributing to a small local businessCAREER DEVELOPMENTAt Collie Auto-Tech, we are committed to supporting the professional growth of our team members.
