If you’re someone who thrives on challenges, loves to lead high-performing teams, and wants to make a tangible impact on a world-class agricultural network, this role is for you.As the Engineering Manager, you will:Oversee Project Success: Evaluate and guide the progress of your team’s projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.Maintain Compliance Excellence: Ensure all projects comply with applicable Codes, Standards, and Regulations, safeguarding Viterra’s reputation for operational excellence.Budget Management: Take ownership of project budgets, ensuring effective financial management and cost control across multiple projects.Drive Innovation & Design: Lead the in-house design functions while collaborating with external consultants to align engineering deliverables with business expectations and best practices.Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the company’s strategic planning, ensuring engineering priorities align with Viterra’s overarching goals and vision.Lead & Inspire: Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and teamwork within your engineering team, inspiring them to achieve and exceed expectations.Who We’re Looking ForHighly Experienced: A qualified engineer (Civil/Structural or Mechanical) with at least 15 years of experience in engineering roles, particularly in bulk material handling, civil and/or structural engineering.Proven Leader: A natural leader with the ability to inspire, develop and lead a team of engineers across multiple disciplines.Project Management Expert: Experienced in leading large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects to completion on time, within budget and to specification.Financially Savvy: Strong financial and contractual acumen, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and with maximum efficiency.Technically Proficient: Skilled in AutoCAD and other engineering design tools, with a strong understanding of the technology necessary to drive project success.Regulatory Knowledge: Deep knowledge of relevant engineering codes, acts, and regulations.Professional Development Focused: Passionate about fostering a learning culture and developing engineers to their full potential.About UsAt Viterra, we don’t just move grain — we connect Australian growers with the world, creating value for both local producers and international consumers.
