Base salary will be in the range $80,523 - $89,505 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5).
We are seeking an organised, motivated and experienced Executive Assistant to join the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences. You will primarily provide administrative and secretarial support to the Head of School, Deputy Head of School, School Manager, and the Director of the Office of Games Engagement (based within HMNS) while also supporting the overall operations of the office.
Key responsibilities will include: Secretarial: diary management for executives, coordinating correspondence and enquiries, scheduling meetings/activities and engagements, coordinating communications and travel.Briefing senior or executive staff on relevant background information in preparation for meetings.Administration: oversight and coordination of day-to-day office management, working with the broader administration team within the School.Organising financials such as reimbursement, corporate card acquittals, and other expenses.Work as a key member of the wider professional administration team within HMNS to ensure efficient operations within the School, working across duties as required.About YouYou will be able to demonstrate:
Demonstrated administration, executive support, or secretarial experience.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work independently to meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, partners and stakeholders at all levels.The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion, diplomacy and judgment.Strong problem-solving skills, and proven ability to proactively contribute to the operational efficiency of an organisational unit.A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in administration, business or executive support in a large and/or complex organisational context; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Knowledge of administrative procedures, organisational structures and functions of the University of Queensland, or the ability to rapidly acquire this.The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia.
