About the role
This role is responsible for supporting the Chef Manager in all aspects of running the kitchen. As the Cook, you will also have the responsibility of overseeing traditional compliance activities including food safety, OHS, and quality.
Six shifts available per fortnight (52hours) with options to pickup Food Service Assistance ( FSA) shifts and leave coverage when available.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Compliance including food safety, WHS and quality
* Leading and motivating the kitchen team
* Stock control and ordering
* Resident dietary management
* Kitchen and food cost management
* Production and delivery of high quality meals
* Service excellence around all aspects of the dining experience
* Strong front of house presence including communication with residents and families
* Provide management and guidance to the kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth operation
Skills & Experience
* Cook Qualifications and experience and understanding of special dietary needs
* Experience within Aged Care would be advantageous
* Willingness to work as part of a broader catering team to continually improve the catering experience in our facilities
