Campbelltown Hospital are looking to recruit a Health Manager Level 4 to complement and enhance the Patient Saftey and Quality Department. What You'll be Doing The Director is responsible for establishing, directing and managing the clinical governance function of Camden & Campbelltown Hospitals and to promote and support patient safety, clinical and improvement science methodology. The Director provides high level expert advice to the General manager on all clinical governance issues and works collaboratively with other members of the executive and key stakeholders to analyse, maintain, and improve patient safety and clinical quality systems across the hospitals. Executive On Call on a rotating roster is also a component of this role, assisting the After Hours Nurse management team with patient flow, KPI and incident escalation. Relevant tertiary clinical and health management qualifications and/or substantial work experience exhibiting highly advanced strategic and operational leadership for safety and quality. Proven experience to lead and develop a diverse team including systems thinking, change management, problem solving, analytical and organisational skills. Vast experience in leading serious adverse event reviews using the range of endorsed safety incident review methodologies. Demonstrated advanced capability in high reliability, human factors science, risk management in a quality and safety framework within a clinical setting. Advanced level interpersonal, reflective communication, presentation, written and verbal skills. Demonstrated experience in improving patient experience and leading open disclosure. Broad understanding and experience in the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards and related accreditation processes, the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) system requirements and the Incident Information Management System (ims). Demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret and utilise data to effectively to ensure the hospital is reliably delivering care. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
