About the role
Located in Kent Town. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm
Our client is seeking an experienced Detailer / Trades Assistant to join their team. You will need experience in buffing and polishing, plus possess good general efficiencies in interior cleaning, fabric care and rejuvenation.
Key Responsibilities for the role - but not limited to:
* Work from your production board priorities list or as directed by Management.
* Always check damage report on job sheet.
* Wash, vacuum and detail vehicles in preparation for customer delivery.
* Polishing paintwork as directed by paint shop manager.
* General workshop cleaning as directed by Workshop Manager
* Assist in panel shop and paint shop as directed by Management.
Skills & experience
* Proven work experience in the same or similar role
* Possess excellent technical knowledge and skill about auto components
* Have the ability to effectively use and operate detailing machinery, tools and chemicals
* Have prior experience with buffing vehicles
* Exhibit efficient time management skills
* Work within OH&S standards
* Hold a current SA Driver's licence
* Excellent communication skills
* Great eye for detail
* Work as part of a team
