Lead UX/UI Designer

This role is at the forefront of defining, building, and leading the next generation of digital sports experiences.
Responsibilities:
1. Define and manage the UX/UI process: You will play a key role in defining and managing the UX/UI process, from research and strategy to concept, design, and development. You will be responsible for shaping the digital experience across our product ecosystem.
2. User-first approach: Collaborating with product and analytics teams, you will work towards creating user experiences and features that drive user success and engagement. You will deliver exceptional experiences and ensure our propositions are brought to life through engaging digital experiences. You will optimize the customer journey and achieve digital experience targets.
3. Collaboration and stakeholder management: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Content, you will provide user research and designs that align with the objectives of our customers, products, and business. You will advocate for a user-centric approach and guide our design thinking.
4. User research and testing: Design and conduct user research using quantitative and qualitative methods. Translate data into solid hypotheses for potential design solutions. Establish user groups, implement customer research and testing processes, and collect qualitative and quantitative data.
5. Design solutions: Identify design problems and devise intuitive and elegant solutions. Guide the design of creative solutions through high-fidelity designs and prototypes, delivering beautifully crafted product experiences at scale. Create UX artifacts such as wireframes, customer journey maps, user flows, sketches, and interactive prototypes.
6. Collaboration with teams: Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal user experiences within project scope, budget, technical requirements, and business needs. Facilitate team discussions and workshops to inspire creativity and multiple ideas around specific problems or features.
Requirements:
1. 5-8 years of experience in designing user experiences for digital products.
2. Proven ability to translate user research and usability findings into iterative product solutions.
3. Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and experience in translating findings into lo-fi sketches, designs, and prototypes.
4. Agile mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
5. Stakeholder management: Comfortable managing stakeholder expectations and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. Passion for learning and innovation, balanced with business needs and customer expectations.
7. Familiarity with the end-to-end design life cycle and modern Agile UX group facilitation models.
8. Conversant in front-end coding concepts, with the ability to design within technical constraints.
9. Analytical and data-driven: Ability to turn insights into actions, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data.
