We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, with experience of delivering complex infrastructure projects, who has the hunger and ambition to grow and become a vital member of our major infrastructure team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing communication between Turner & Townsend and the client. Negotiating and agreeing contracts. Providing commercial management services under various forms of contract and payment mechanisms. Timely assessment, valuation, and payment of works. Ensuring compliance with any contractual procedural requirements relating to notices, particulars, and substantiation. Leading contractual negotiations with clients and project stakeholders. Identifying financial and contractual risks, developing risk mitigation, and implementing contingency plans and strategies. Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep the budget on track. Producing and presenting profit and loss statements (CVR), monthly forecasts, cash flows, and providing timely and prudent commercial advice. Applying technical and commercial knowledge to identify and implement value engineering solutions. Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants. Completing site surveillance reports and diaries and reviewing contractor's progress reports. Liaising with project stakeholders i.e., Project Managers, Planners, Finance, and Risk Managers. Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to grow and develop professionally. Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. Chartered membership of relevant professional i.e., RICS / AIQS (not essential). 4 - 10 years' experience working in complex, large scale, and multi-disciplinary projects in transport and/or infrastructure. A natural relationship builder with excellent oral and written communication skills. High level of attention to detail. Able to anticipate and follow-through fully on tasks.
