About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Fleet Account Manager to drive growth and build strong relationships within the commercial product segment.
This role is essential in managing and expanding the fleet customer base, achieving sales revenue targets, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across the customer portfolio.
Key Responsibilities: Implement acquisition strategies to build a targeted customer base and maximise sales opportunities.
Manage a pipeline of new business and improve gross margins through customer needs analysis and relationship management.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Provide ongoing business reviews and account analysis, and collaborate with service providers to meet customer needs.
Lead strategic negotiations for new and renewed scope of work agreements, ensuring profitable commercial relationships and alignment with customer expectations.
Contribute to demand forecasting and assist with dispute resolution.
Execute pricing initiatives and collaborate with the Fleet Excellence Team to meet contract and KPI commitments.
Gather and analyse customer and industry insights to tailor strategies and enhance market position.
Skills & Experience: Strategic account management experience, ideally within the tyre or automotive industry, or a vertically integrated goods and services business.
Proven success in managing multi-layer customer sales engagements and negotiating large national accounts.
Strong track record in sales performance, with advanced negotiation and strategic planning skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyse financial data, manage budgets, and develop growth strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present impactful strategies and solutions.
