Are you passionate about creating delicious breakfast dishes and leading a talented kitchen team? We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sou Chef to join our culinary team at RACV Cape Schanck Resort.
About the Role:
As a Sou Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our breakfast service. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team
Preparing high-quality breakfast dishes, including hot and cold items
Maintaining high standards of food presentation and taste
Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Sou Chef or Demi Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hotel
Strong culinary skills and a passion for food
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach
