The Role Our Contracts Administratorrole will suit an experienced candidate who thrives working on a diverse range of projects, is highly collaborative, willing to add value throughout our processes, all whilst working in a fun and positive team environment. Reporting to the Construction Manager, they will be responsible for all head contract and subcontract management across the life cycle of our projects.This includes procurement, contract and project administration, and reporting of our residential and commercial contracts to achieve and deliver against the following responsibilities: Responsible for preparation and management of head contract and subcontracts (progress claims, payment schedules, variations, contract deliverables, issuing contract notices, EOT, NOD, Latent Conditions) in conjunction with the Project Manager. Assist Project Manager with contract negotiations and conditions with subcontractors, ensuring all contractual obligations under the subcontract are maintained and administered, and identify potential risks involved with specific contract terms. Actively build strong relationships and effectively communicate with key stakeholders. Provide project delivery and programming support to the Project Manager. Support and coordinate the review and timely approval of subcontractor payment claims. Work closely with the Construction Manager and Estimator to assist with reporting requirements including project programs, cost budgets and forecasting. Assist the Estimator with project costing requirements for commercial and residential projects. Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years' experience working in commercial construction Contract Administration or similar, and a minimum of 10 years industry experience. Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar. A sound understanding and knowledge of construction processes, methodologies and costs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Highly analytical and innovative with outstanding attention to detail. Procore or equivalent system experience preferred. Salary will be negotiated based on experience of the candidate.
