About the role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our modern restaurant located in the vibrant coastal town of Mandurah, Western Australia. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, creating innovative seasonal menus, and leading a talented kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers. This is a full-time role based in our Mandurah restaurant. What you'll be doing Develop and implement creative, seasonal menus that showcase the best local produce Manage all aspects of the kitchen operation, including staff scheduling, ordering, inventory control, and quality assurance Mentor and train a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards in the kitchen Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver a seamless and memorable dining experience for our guests Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations to continually improve our culinary offerings What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a kitchen team Excellent culinary skills and a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and flavour profiles Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating innovative, visually appealing dishes Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen management best practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the front-of-house team Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment If you are an experienced and innovative Head Chef who is eager to join our team, we encourage you to apply now. #J-18808-Ljbffr
