Why this role and not others? You might be doing drafting only in another role and be keen for some design opportunity. You might be doing design in another role and want a stronger professional development plan. You might be keen on working closer to home. Why is this role vacant? This is a land development consultancy looking for drafting and design support for their new, second office in Warragul. There's renewed excitement this quarter to find someone for this role because the lead engineer has started in their new role and is beginning to bring in new work. Additionally, you'll be supporting the south-eastern office too with both drafting and design. There's an experienced Senior AutoCAD Drafter there already who would love to support your own journey. There's plenty of design engineers able to help too and the company isn't shy of supporting staff regards professional development. However, this is not a straight engineering 'grad' role. We do need the drafting skills and for you to be happy doing drafting. Here's why else: Car parking on site, complementary at both offices Split your time between the offices - makes for a fun week Project variety - large land development projects yes but also smaller ones, industrial projects, the occasional aged care or kinder facility, road upgrades etc. Your skill set will be broad and interesting. Market rate salary but with ample opportunity for development Really kind teams - the people here are genuinely kind and supportive What we need in you: Pro-active, upbeat attitude to work and a strong work ethic Tertiary qualifications in drafting or similar. Degree is fine as long as you're aware this is not a plain grad role. 1-2-5 years' experience in an engineering consultancy, local ideal. Take home pay: $65k - $90k p/a plus Super If you're still not sure, give me a call: 0447 042 897 or email me to miriam.taylorsonda.com.au
