Safety is not a rule, it’s a value.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the annual cropping program designed to achieve top yield results.Prioritise daily activities as directed by the Farm Operations Manager.Ensure the safety of yourself and your teammates – including reporting incidents, hazards, and proactively addressing safety concerns.Operate and maintain all aspects of the irrigation system.Setup, operate, and maintain all machinery and equipment.Perform general fabrication work.Maintain workshop equipment and monitor service intervals.Commit to the Cotton Industry’s ‘Best Management Practices’ program.About YouHave the permanent right to work in Australia.A growth mindset, with a willingness to grow with our business.Farm work experience commensurate with the role - experienced in irrigation farming.Sound practical experience in general farm work, irrigation, tractors, harvesting equipment, spraying, pumps, machinery, etc.The ability to work in a highly productive, motivated team.The ability to communicate well with staff.Fluent in English.Have your own transport.Certificate, diploma, or degrees in agriculture-related education is an advantage but not essential.Machinery plant & equipment tickets, HR truck license, also an advantage.A demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning is highly desirable.If you are a self-motivated individual with the right attitude, behaviours, and ability to drive continuous improvements in the production system and support the Farm Operations Manager in achieving the team’s objectives, please click on “apply” today.
