The role of our Asset Protection & Risk Management Officer is to provide effective loss prevention services to help improve business profitability, reduce losses and ensure a safe environment for both team members and our customers. Reporting to our Director of Store Execution & Asset Protection/ Risk your focus will be on security management and technical systems including access control, electronic key distribution, alarms system, CCTV reviews, managing our service desk ticket system and general security duties.
Requirements for Success
* Help protect company assets by reducing loss due to theft, error, waste, and injury
* Support and carry out proactive strategies and actions to reduce losses and variances
* Encourage a culture where everyone participates in protecting company assets and profits
* Assist operational teams with stocktake processes, perform seasonal analysis, and suggest improvements
* Work with Operations teams to help minimize profit loss and protect business asset
* Conduct investigations into criminal activity, ensuring compliance with laws and company standards
* Deliver professional and effective Loss Prevention services to all stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to our Regional/Area Management Team
* Educate Operations teams of the importance of Asset Protection
Skills & Experience
* 3 years’ experience in a Retail Loss Prevention role – preferably in a multi-site environment
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse data effectively
* Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word at an intermediate level
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks autonomously
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to investigate and manage complex issues with attention to detail
* High level of integrity and professionalism in all aspects of work
* Experience with Meraki Software is preferred but not essential
