Your new role
The Service Design role is crucial in the team, leading initiatives and managing workflows. With a considerable level of autonomy, the Service Designer will have the freedom to exercise initiative and judgment while interpreting legislation and policy to achieve outstanding outcomes. This will include:
* Research & Insights: Dive deep into researching and identifying insights that contribute to our Agency's understanding of information.
* Co-Create & Document: Partner with team members to co-create and document current state service through design and research, identifying participant and staff experiences and business processes.
* Advocacy: Champion the voices and experiences of participants and stakeholders throughout our work processes.
* Design-Thinking: Co-facilitate design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test future service processes, channels, and experiences.
* End-to-End Service: Oversee end-to-end service experiences in line with the Digital Service Standard, ensuring changes are participant and staff-focused and consistent across various touchpoints.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in service design and improvement
* Exceptional initiative and judgment
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Expertise in design-thinking methodologies and practices
* Ability to conduct thorough research and translate insights into actionable improvements
* Experience in facilitating co-creation and design-thinking sessions
