Your ability to lead and motivate a team, implement strategic plans, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders will be vital to the success of our operation. Your leadership skills will help to support the growth and ongoing development of your team, and will empower them to champion fostering a safe, secure, and healthy living environment for all students.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESYour responsibilities as General Manager will include but not be limited to:Ensure student wellbeing is prioritised at all times.Be thoroughly familiar with our Operating Agreements and manage the property as per the management agreement and all associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Establish and maintain constructive and productive working relationships with the client, head office, operations team, student residents and other relevant stakeholders.Manage and optimise the financial return, and the overall financial performance of the property as outlined in the Financial Model/Budget.Maintain the property to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation as would be expected of a professional property management company.Pro-actively maintain the building’s fit-out and the standard of its equipment.Provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to develop a team of high performing staff.In the absence of the Regional General Manager act as their delegate.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Current Real Estate Certificate of Registration through the Office of Fair-Trading QLD.Experience in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector is preferred, but not essential.Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act.Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team.Effective verbal and written communication skills with staff, owners, residents, and contractors.Available to commit to a Monday to Friday roster, 38 hours per week.Current First Aid & CPR Certificate, or willing to obtain.National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost.Working with Children Check (QLD), at own cost – note, no card no start legislation applies in QLD.Full work rights in Australia.WHY JOIN USAcross our workforce we have built an enviable culture of trust, engagement, collaboration, and fun.
