We are seeking a suitable testing officer to undertake testing and assessment associated with the national and international certification of explosion protected equipment.
This is a hands-on testing and customer-focused role within the Simtars Testing and Assessment section. You will have experience and knowledge of testing techniques for hazardous area equipment compliance and assessment. Your attention to detail, clear communication, and enthusiastic, collaborative approach, within an inclusive environment, will be essential to assist Simtars in delivering quality outcomes.

We are keen to receive your application showing:
1. Evidence that you possess a diploma level qualification in electrical/ electronic/ mechanical, or equivalent in a relevant science discipline.
2. Possession of a current and valid Australian driver's licence.
3. Knowledge and application of National Accreditation of Testing Authorities (NATA) and/or Australian Standard 9001 quality as a minimum.
4. Knowledge and experience in quality-focussed laboratories or industries.
5. The ability to manage workload, technical assessments, project management, and meet quality outcomes, as per role description.
