About us:
The Gladstone Integrated Service is located in Gladstone and consists of an Adult Mental Health Service, Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Step-Up-Step Down Unit and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service. The Gladstone Integrated Service provides specialised services for the population of Gladstone and the surrounding areas through a range of interventions including assessment, case management, therapeutic treatment, support, consultations and referrals.
About the role:
* Knowledge and skill in specialist mental health clinical area as it pertains to children, young people and their carers and support networks.
* Demonstrated a level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with sound understanding of recovery focussed Mental Health care and child development.
* Demonstrated ability to provide high level specialist clinical advice on professional and clinical service development.
* Ability to participate in and contribute to a child and youth mental health multidisciplinary team with clinical practice supervision.
* Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based principles to facilitate complex clinical decisions.
* Demonstrated ability to lead change through quality and service improvement activities shaping service delivery and contributes to the development of professional and clinical competence across the service.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
* Occupational Therapy
* Psychology
* Social Work
* Post graduate tertiary qualification relevant to the position is highly desirable.
* While not mandatory, possession of relevant clinical post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in relevant profession or mental health would be well regarded for this position.
* Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $14,385 p.m. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
