We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Asset and Data Coordinator to join our Engineering and Asset Management team. The Asset and Data Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Engineering and Asset Management team by analysing performance data and coordinating asset-related activities with contractors. The role will be primarily responsible for managing the outsourced fault desk model which operates across Melbourne Airport. The position will ensure this critical function is managed efficiently, effectively and delivers accurate data quality to assist with ongoing compliance and performance obligations. The role serves as a change driver and initiator, analysing key data and providing weekly reports to identify faults and drive opportunities for process optimisation. The position acts as a pivotal liaison for contractors, fostering connections between suppliers, Asset Managers, and the broader Melbourne Airport team. Key responsibilities: Analyse internal and external Helpdesk fault reports to derive actionable insights for improving data quality and fault management processes. Highlight emergency faults and issues to ensure timely response and rectification. Conduct ongoing comparison of monthly performance metrics and perform root cause analysis to identify and address significant changes affecting data quality and fault management. Coordinate operational activities between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of services. Proactively identify areas for improvement in communication and coordination processes, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Utilise both internal and external data sets to report on overarching factors influencing fault resolution and passenger experience, contributing to operational excellence. Collaborate closely with contractors on operational activities, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and standards. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and the external provider teams to ensure accurate and relevant data capture for analysis. Escalate issues to management when necessary, fostering effective team collaboration and problem resolution. Actively engage with cross-functional teams and contractors to understand project requirements and objectives. The successful candidate will have: Previous experience in customer-facing roles and people management is preferred. Experience in data analysis is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify anomalies. Demonstrated ability to approach tasks with a quality improvement perspective. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Broad understanding of change management processes. Preference to have experience managing external contractors. Ability to coordinate activities with various stakeholders to ensure effective implementation. Capability to identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis and insights from fault management. Proficiency in collecting, organising, and analysing data from various sources to derive actionable insights and make informed decisions. Expertise in compiling and presenting weekly reports to inform all stakeholders. Ability to record and maintain large datasets to drive efficiency.
