About the role:
As a member of the Workplace Solutions Team, the Facilities Operation Manager will report to the Head of Workplace Solutions and be responsible for coordinating the Workplace Solutions team in regards to all activities (hard and soft services) including being the point of contact for the Samsung interstate offices (Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Brisbane). A key focus area for the Facilities Operation Manager is to ensure the workplace enables employees to do their best work and to always have the employee experience at the front and centre of everything they do. The Facilities Manager is a subject matter expert in Facilities Management and associated processes and exhibits high multitasking and organisational abilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing Facilities support and guidance to the Workplace Solutions team on a day-to-day basis
2. Support with Space Planning and plan and carry out internal moves
3. Develop and implement plans and activities to enhance employee experience
4. Responsible for driving the Workplace Solutions related Environmental and Sustainability initiatives, including communication
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards and conduct regular inspections and audits
6. Ensure all relevant approvals are in place for Workplace Solutions related works and services
7. Drive the development of new Standard Operating Procedures and updates for existing ones.

1. Minimum of 7 – 10 years’ experience working in Facility Management within a corporate environment.
