The purpose of the Manager, Operations role is to provide advice and senior support to the Executive Director, SCB, Senior Director, Operations Group, and other key stakeholders, in the management, coordination and resolution of critical and operational issues. The role will additionally lead and/or undertake special projects as directed by the Executive Director. Proactively lead an environment that identifies opportunities for improvement and implements solutions that improve the safety and quality standards for the Branch. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: Demonstrated ability to utilise sound judgement, high-level problem solving and issues management skills, with the capacity to analyse and integrate information from diverse sources and facilitate timely, organised, and effective responses. Proven high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills at a management level with a track record in fostering effective and productive relationships with clients, strategic partners and key stakeholders. Expert knowledge of contemporary management issues in areas of supply chain and critical issues. Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to define project tasks, set priorities and coordinate activities effectively to meet competing deadlines, with a track record of proven and sustained outcomes. Qualifications, registrations, and other requirements There are no mandatory qualifications required for appointment to this position, but possession of professional or tertiary level qualifications in relevant areas such as business management, financial management, accountancy, policy or change management will be favourably regarded.
