UBY is a new Constructech subsidiary of the Bouygues Group which uses the best of technology and Data to provide simple and unique smart solutions that meet the environmental, health, safety, productivity and sustainability challenges of construction players and infrastructure managers.UBY offers environmental, structural, productivity and occupational health and safety monitoring in the construction and operation phases.The RoleUnder the supervision of our Operations Manager, you will be in charge of managing the works associated with the deployment of our solutions on a major civil infrastructure project in Adelaide/Melbourne.Managing overall Project operations & support related to the deployment of UBY solutions, acting as the interface with our Client (Tier 1 civil contractor).Manage and supervise site installation teams.Office-based work which involves the planning and preparations for the installation and implementation of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems; preparing documentation and maintaining records; reporting to clients; liaising with stakeholders; identifying specific requirements; engaging and managing subcontractors; maintaining installation records; reviewing data and creating factual reports; and contract administration/management.Site work will involve overseeing and assisting with the installation of instrumentation in accordance with construction drawings, specifications and method statements.Managing works programs and scheduling personnel and subcontractors where personnel are assigned to your project specific purposes.Enforcing high H&S and Quality standards on our operations.Ensuring a high level of satisfaction of our clients.ProfileTrade or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Mining, or Construction Background (i.e. Civil Engineering / Environmental / Physical Geography / Geology / Instrumentation).You have minimum 5 years direct experience working in management on major civil infrastructure projects: tunnels, structures etc., with a passion for digital products and services.You are confident in managing a team, subcontractors and building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.Knowledge of construction methods and practices and experience with Geotechnical engineering and related to geotechnical instrumentation, experience with borehole drilling techniques and methods and knowledge of geotechnical testing practices are highly desirable.Good organisational, communication and administrative skills. Motivated and enthusiastic to learn new skills. Detailed and quality driven. Willing to take on responsibility. A sound understanding of HSE principles and practices.Have valid working rights in Australia, driving license etc.
