Inside Sales Account Manager - National Plumbing and Gas product accounts
Our client is a company we are always proud to represent. Currently they have a rare opening due to expansion in one of their flagship divisions. This role will work with a product range that has been in the Australian market for 40 years and will build and manage relationships with a range of retail and State and National trade accounts that are integral to the business.
* Work out of Sydney Head Office in a great team
* Develop and maintain relationships with key plumbing merchant accounts
* Use your personality and sales skills to increase product awareness with existing customers
* Learn how to conduct range reviews and develop promotional programs - if required
* Engage in phone-based selling, building rapport, and presenting products and solutions to new and existing customers.
* Use your negotiation skills to discuss pricing, deals, and terms with customers, ensuring win-win outcomes.
* Organize and manage a structured call cycle to maximize sales opportunities and account growth.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets, demonstrating your achievement orientation and competitive drive.
* Take full accountability for your actions, ensuring follow-through on commitments and customer satisfaction.
* Use your problem-solving skills to address customer objections and provide tailored solutions.

Selection Criteria
To be successful in your application for this role you must meet the following criteria:
* Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, with the ability to influence and persuade.
* Strong negotiation skills, with experience discussing pricing and deals.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts and a structured call cycle.
* You enjoy being strategic in a sales role
* You have previously managed some level of retail or trade account
* You build long lasting trust based relationships with retail and wholesale clients and you use your enthusiasm to influence and guide decisions
* You have a ton of energy and good examples of being able to introduce new products or product ranges into retail and trade accounts.
* You like being given a target to reach and then being given the trust and autonomy to get there.
* You are analytical (or enjoy numbers) and have high attention to detail
