About the role Applications are sought from suitably qualified teachers with a passion for supporting students to achieve academic and holistic success. This role is a full-time position working in our secondary school team. Maths Science experience is desirable but a generalist background is advantageous as well. The applicant should have a passion for coming alongside students so that they are "well known, well loved, and well taught". The position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with CEM policy. About you Be able to display the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes. Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes. Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes. Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications, and TRBWA accreditation (or be eligible). Work within a school leadership that has a clear Christian vision and a strong Christian culture.
