Key competencies:
1. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of awards, legislation, policies and procedures relevant to payroll to ensure appropriate knowledge and expertise to undertake complex and systemic pay investigations within Payroll Transactional Services.
2. Develop and update existing reports using SQL queries for Payroll Transactional Services, Department of Health business areas and Hospital and Health Services to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll processes.
3. Develop data collection templates using Microsoft Excel and utilising VBA to ensure data quality.
4. Undertake analysis of payroll data from various sources (including SAP-HR, Workbrain and Serviceline) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll processes.
5. Document risks identified during analysis and progress using agreed escalation processes together with options and recommendations for risk mitigation.
6. Identify issues with data integrity and progress appropriately to improve the overall quality of critical payroll data.
