Join a dedicated team committed to excellence in payroll management within a respected Community Services provider. We are looking for an experienced and professional Senior Payroll Officer who will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth payroll operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and process payroll accurately and on time
* Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and team to streamline payroll processes and ensure compliance with Awards/Agreements and relevant legislation.
* Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity, demonstrating empathy and respect in client services and team interactions.
* Contribute to the ongoing training and development of payroll staff, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
* Ensure that all payroll-related documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with company policies and industry standards.
Key Requirements:
* Strong experience in payroll operations, ideally with knowledge of Clerical Employees Award Level 4.
* High-level communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a team environment.
* Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the capacity to manage workloads under strict deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with payroll systems such as Preceda.
* Current Police Screening Certificate and up-to-date vaccinations as per company policy.
