Description The primary role of the Practice Manager is to manage daily operations of the Peoplecare Optical and Dental Clinic to deliver optical and dental services to members and the public whilst ensuring clinical governance and compliance obligations are met and adhered to by all staff. The Practice Manager is responsible and accountable for the following: Adherence to current and emerging clinical compliance and risk mitigation obligations Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and the Board as required – collating and interpreting data Day-to-Day operations of the clinic: rostering, supplies, leave request processing, payroll Point of contact for the Organisation as a whole Strategy and procurement: resourcing and recruitment Staff performance, management and development WH&S, Incidents, Risks, Compliment and Complaint management Oversee End-of-Month and financial processing Undertake Operational Roles as required based on experience Skills And Experiences We’d love to hear from you if you have: Qualification in Practice Management or 2 or more years Practice Management experience Experience with Optomate and Dental4Windows Experience in optical and/or dental industry Proven experience in managing and leading people Experience in delivering performance appraisals and development initiatives Experience in managing projects Willingness and experience in operational roles of dental or optical industry Manage sensitive information professionally and confidentially Always seek to deepen expertise and knowledge of best practice relevant to position Exceptional relationship, stakeholder, and influence skills Simplify complex information and customise messaging for different audiences Strong verbal/presentation skills and attention to detail The Peoplecare Way At Peoplecare, we have a love for people and genuinely care about improving their health and wellbeing.
