The Opportunity:
We currently have an opportunity available for a Junior Legal Secretary to join our team in Sydney on a full-time permanent basis.
Joining as the Junior Legal Secretary, you will work closely with our Practice Executives to assist with practice management and Partner workflow, as well as our legal staff and other functions within the firm, to provide proactive and effective general administrative assistance.
Some of your main responsibilities will be;
1. Ad hoc administration tasks such as printing, scanning, filing
2. Management of travel
3. Management of expenses
4. Providing additional support to monitor any incoming Service Desk Plus tasks and raising issues with the PE/Hub Team Lead as necessary
5. Assist with onboarding, training and team mentoring of new Operations staff
6. Assist Practice Executives with document amendments and management, including powerpoints and pitches, amending and finalising of client invoices and associated monthly client reporting
Development within the role will be supported by the Team Leader and Operations Manager.

Essential Skills & Experience:
7. Previous legal administration experience and/or strong administration experience
8. "Can do" and proactive approach, including accepting tasks outside the general scope of duties
9. Strong organisational skills and ability to plan and prioritise effectively
10. Strong problem solving skills
11. Demonstrates initiative and strong client focus
