About the opportunity: Our Finance team have an opportunity for an individual to join them in the capacity of Finance Business Manager - Consolidation in our Pacific Zone of Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Head of Business Finance, Pacific and based in Macquarie Park NSW, this is a key role in delivering exceptional support to the business to drive profitable growth from the provision of financial analysis and actionable insights through business modeling, creation and adoption of standardised reporting, process improvement and systems analysis.
Key responsibilities: * Provide support in the team leadership to the Business Finance team locally, and offshore * Ensure comprehensive, accurate and timely performance measurement and reporting for all of Pacific (Australia and New Zealand management accounts) * Drive the Business Review process for local business reviews and Zone business reviews * Prepare monthly, quarterly performance results for executive leadership team * Detailed analysis of results, provision of meaningful insights and value add recommendations * Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of the quarterly planning and forecasting process * Challenge forecast inputs from other stakeholders through independent analysis and modelling e.g.
analysis of impact of macroeconomic indicators on forecast * Analysis of business and market trends and opportunities * Develop strategic long term financial plans in conjunction with the Strategy department * Develop digital analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights to the business * Identify and qualify risks and opportunities for the business and make recommendations to management * Provide business and market modeling to support the development of business initiatives * Foster an environment of continuous improvement * Acting as 2IC and deputising for the Head of Business Finance as required * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal Schneider policies * Develop a strong trusted relationships with the business to influence business decisions and outcomes About you: To see success in this role, you will be able to demonstrate 10+ years of experience in Commercial Finance within an ASX top 100 business or professional services, including proficiency working in Australian and New Zealand entities driving forecasting, budgets, projects, and transactional cycles of multiple business units.
Your personal drivers and professional confidence will be supported by a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or a relevant field and your desire to work for a value-based organization with leading edge solutions.
Key skills and experience: * Advanced understanding of the relevant business functions including People Leadership, Financial (P&L) Management, Strategic Thinking and Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting, Risk Management, Business Systems, Continuous Improvement and Quality * Commercial curiosity for business case discovery and development with the ability to critically evaluate proposals and opportunities * Mastery of systems, analytical, tools and data management * Working knowledge of performance analytics and measurements * Exceptional communication and influencing skills * Customer focused and a commitment to thriving within a team environment All applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for Interview.
