: artsACT is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to deliver on artsACT’s components of the Kingston Art Precinct. The future arts precinct in Kingston will be the destination for Canberra’s visual arts and culture. It brings together a new Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Space along with six visual arts organisations, resident artists, and a dynamic program of creative activity. The successful applicant will work closely with key stakeholders and the founding organisations to ensure facilities are fit for purpose and organisations are equipped for their move.

Eligibility/ Other requirements: Knowledge of the ACT visual arts sector or experience in arts infrastructure projects is desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 24 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
