Role Summary This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck Driver to join a government-led roadworks crew based in Hay, NSW 2711. You will support regional infrastructure maintenance and construction by transporting materials and machinery, operating heavy vehicles onsite, and contributing to manual labour activities as part of the broader crew.
The position is based on a nine-day fortnight, working 76 hours per fortnight, with 8.5-hour workdays. From time to time, camping away from the depot will be required—accommodation is fully provided in these instances. When working from the Hay depot, candidates must source their own accommodation, and flexible arrangements can be discussed with suitable applicants.
An attractive hourly rate of $44/hr + super is offered, along with overtime penalty rates and applicable allowances for additional hours and travel.
