Senior Specialist Mental Health Worker - PerinatalProfessional 3 Remuneration Package Range $130,087 - $145,485 (including salary $110,873 - $124,173)Child and Youth Mental Health ServicesFull time, Ongoing vacancyAlice Springs, Central AustraliaCareer opportunity for AHPRA accredited MH Nurse, Psych, OT, or Social Worker.Provide specialist care in perinatal mental health care to families.Develop collaborative care plans and participate in educational programs.Apply your experience in mental health care with your advanced clinical skills to provide specialist care to women and families at risk of perinatal mental health disorder.NT Health’s Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) is a specialist, multi-disciplinary service that provides treatment and support to women and families identified as at risk of or having moderate to severe perinatal mental health disorders.Currently, CYMHS has a vacancy in Alice Springs for a Mental Health professional with demonstrated experience in perinatal mental health care and an advanced level of clinical skills with extensive knowledge of professional standards, clinical practices, and mental health service provision.As a Senior Specialist Mental Health Worker (P3), your key duties include providing mental health assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic support to women and families identified as having moderate to severe perinatal mental health disorder. You will participate in the development of collaborative care plans, provide clinical leadership, liaison and consultancy services, and work collaboratively to develop solid partnerships with health care professionals and community organizations.Ideally, you will be an accomplished MH Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Psychologist with registration to practice with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or be eligible for membership of the Australian Psychological Society and looking for an opportunity to support women and families identified at risk of perinatal mental health disorder.
