Bass Coast Health (BCH) is seeking a qualified FANZCA for the role of Co-Clinical Director of Anaesthetic & Perioperative Services.
This 0.4 EFT (two days per week) job share role involves providing professional and clinical leadership to the Anaesthetics team.
The Co-Director will oversee clinical governance, education, quality assurance, and mentorship of specialists, GP Anaesthetists, and junior medical staff.
Key responsibilities include: Contributing to the delivery of adult, paediatric, and obstetric anaesthetic services.
Working collaboratively with other specialty directors.
Participating in the elective theatre schedule and on-call coverage.
Supporting the growth of perioperative services and the complex pain service as BCH expands its surgical services, including new operating suites and day surgery at the Phillip Island Community Hospital.
