Paynter Dixon are excited to enter the South Australian market with a new significantly sized shopping centre complex starting in the new Riverlea development. With a strong pipeline of work in South Australia, they are looking to bring on board their next Construction Foreman!
The Opportunity: The Construction Foreman role will report into the Project Manager and is responsible for planning, programming, managing and driving construction activities in a cooperative and productive working environment and to assist in achieving the project objectives of time, quality, safety and cost.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure the relevant sections of the Construction Management Plan are implemented Plan, program, supervise and monitor all subcontract works Manage the process of planning, testing and commissioning Maintain the Paynter Dixon Integrated Management System (IMS). Conduct Site WHS inspections and site inductions as required Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Standards and Codes of Practice Work to budget allowances for labour and preliminaries and run site activities accordingly Ongoing supervision of trade co-ordination Work with the Site Manager to develop an overall plan for materials handling, scaffold, storage and site accommodation What We're Looking For: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Recognised trade certificate for carpentry or another trade Knowledge of WHS & Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards as they apply to the construction industry 5+ years experience in a similar role - Highly desirable Apply Today If you bring a great attitude, collaborative style and eagerness to contribute to meaningful projects, then we would love to hear from you!
