As the Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in liaising with the consultants and the main contractor through the project delivery. You will work closely with the main contractor to ensure that the project is delivered on time.
About the Client
My client is a well-known client-side project management firm that specialise in commercial, industrial, hospitality, and retail projects. They are seeking an assistant client-side project manager to help them deliver these projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the client with the head contractor
* Cost plan management, monitoring, and budget control
* Establish, lead, and manage project governance processes
* Tendering documentation and processes
* Contract administration and works supervision
* Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress
* Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts
* Maintain a strong focus on safety and the environment
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification relevant to Construction or Engineering
* Proven experience in construction or client-side project management.
* Strong attention to detail
* Be collaborative and a team player
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
