As a Safety Advisor you will based out of our office in Cambridge, providing provide practical, hands-on Health & Safety support across all FH construction projects throughout Tasmania. You will collaboratively work with our project team at all levels of the business ensuring best practice standards are being met and exceeded. We will look to you to also: Develop and implement safety related plans and procedures i.e. SWMS, EMPS etc; Conduct safety assessments and Safety audits; Drive and champion a culture that is focused on the pillars of safety, environment & quality; Report incidents, non-conformances and near misses and coordinate/participate in investigations as required; Use safety systems to meet reporting requirements (monthly reports, objectives & targets). To be successful in this role you will have: 3 years' experience working in a similar role in the Construction industry; Tertiary qualified in Safety, with Cert IV completion or similar preferred; Developed organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively and execute outcomes independently; Knowledge of Safety legislation and statutes, and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to the Project.
