About Farnborough State School:
Farnborough State School is located 7km outside of coastal Yeppoon on the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. The school is surrounded by semi-rural properties, with the benefit of easy access to nearby services as well as the serene Byfield Forest and Waterpark Creek. The school grounds are enhanced with a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen and Garden, an early year's nature playground, and a tree trail, with native bush tucker, orchard and rainforest trees. The school's 2024 priority work includes implementing version 9 maths, strengthening the school's thriving school culture through the addition of restorative practices and revising and embedding structured literacy blocks.
Your role:
As the Principal, you will:
