Operations Readiness Analyst, Accounts Payable
Amazon Finance & Global Business Services (FGBS) plays a crucial role in the company's mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company.
FGBS encompasses finance functions like Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Tax, as well as other functions like Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF), Investor Relations, and Benchmarking.
To support our continued growth, we are seeking an Operations Readiness (ORT) analyst to lead projects for the LATAM AP organization at the Costa Rica Center.
This position will focus on supporting Accounts Payable (AP) Operations, primarily through new launches and business expansions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Serve as a liaison between PMO (projects team) and AP operation function.
* Document new business cases impacting operations.
* Train AP teams in new processes.
* Raise potential impacts or risks for AP affecting operations.
This role will also act as an escalation point for resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.
The successful candidate will apply controls correctly to data and collaborate with Tech teams to develop suitable solutions for automating processes.

The position is responsible for the correct application of controls to the data and working with Tech teams to develop the right solutions to automate the process.
Basic Qualifications:
* 2+ years of finance experience.
* 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
* 1+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
* Experience using data to influence business decisions.
* Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
