The purpose of the Senior Test Analyst is to undertake testing and business analysis activities for Queensland Health’s enterprise corporate solutions (including SAP finance (S/4HANA), SAP HCM and Workbrain).You will be required to fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the Queensland Public Service values.Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.Complete system, integration and regression testing, and associated activities such as defect logging, prioritisation, and management within established frameworks, strategies, standards, methodologies, and policies.Collaborate with other teams and external stakeholders as required to undertake preparation for testing, and issue and defect resolution to enable test execution deadlines to be met.Contribute to test planning, including automation planning, scheduling, preparation, and report development.Develop and maintain procedures and documentation in relation to testing activities.Monitor and evaluate testing progress and risks and assist with reporting on these items appropriately to key stakeholders.Provide second level support for the applications and work collaboratively with first level technical support staff to ensure defined service levels are met.Support implementation activities for software releases.Provide advice relating to systems implementation to ensure that functionality aligns with established business requirements and functional models.Provide knowledge transfer and training to other team members to enable on-going support of the solution.There may be a requirement to work out of hours, weekends and public holidays to ensure the successful delivery of the Queensland Health enterprise solutions.You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:High level experience performing system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing and co-ordination in a complex environment.Experience in interpreting functional requirements and design specifications to develop appropriate test scenarios that align with overarching test strategy and testing principles.Experience in testing and supporting employee and manager self-service and customer relationship management applications, with a focus on UX, accessibility, data privacy, and security considerations.Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment with associated personal attributes of communication, collaboration, adaptability and critical analysis.Qualifications, registrations and other requirementsWhile not mandatory, professional and or tertiary level qualifications in areas such as information technology, business management or project management would be well regarded.Mandatory requirement - minimum of 3 years experience testing S/4HANA as a senior tester.Service delivery experience in a large, diverse and complex operating environment is highly desirable.Experience with SAP ECC6/Workbrain and/or SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.To apply for this exciting opportunity, submit your resume and a one-page cover letter online today.Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.Further info: Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may be considered for other vacancies.
