About the Opportunity Campbelltown Hospital Physiotherapy are pleased to announce this opportunity for a Permanent Full Time Level 3 Women's Health Senior Physiotherapist to join our team. Acknowledging the growing needs of our area, our department has been successful in increasing our Women's Health FTE to now create this full time position. This new position will sit within our Women's and Children's stream, and support outpatient women's and pelvic health care, and physiotherapy services on the post-natal ward. You will provide senior women's and pelvic health governance to the physiotherapy team, and support training of junior staff and students in these areas. What You'll be Doing This position is responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy services. This includes service development and evaluation and advanced reasoning and clinical practice skills in the management of clients of a novel or complex nature. This position is responsible for the supervision, teaching and training of Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, AHAs and students. Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex physiotherapy caseload. Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence based practice. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Extensive clinical knowledge in Women's Health Physiotherapy with a broad range of relevant inpatient/outpatient clinical experience including post-natal interventions, perinatal back pain/pelvic girdle pain, incontinence management, post-surgical procedure management.
