The role Reporting to the Senior Records Governance Officer, Corporate Information Management (CIM) Unit, Governance, Assurance and Information Management Branch (GAIM), the Information Officer provides support directly to the Senior Records Governance Officer and business areas in the management of physical and electronic records including digitisation, appraisal, archiving and disposal. The role also supports operational information management tasks in line with the Corporate Information Managements baseline operations. Key responsibilities: Support archiving projects for corporate records, including data inputs/associated data entry to eDRMS (Content Manager) and appraisal of records against relevant Retention and Disposal Schedules. Support the annual Content Manager Digital Disposal program (activating retention triggers, quality review checks, seeking business area endorsement, submitting documentation to the authorised delegate, and completing data updates for disposal reporting). Conduct searches (e.g., Redress, Right to Information, Inquiries etc.) using Content Manager and Archives Gateway, including the provision of documented search criteria and results, and the retrieval and/or provision of relevant physical or electronic records. The successful person You will have demonstrated: Current recordkeeping knowledge and experience in both a digital and physical environment. Practical experience using Content Manager eDRMS or a similar system. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant recordkeeping legislation, standards, policies, and procedures, including the ability to interpret appraisal classes and disposal schedules. Demonstrated ability to follow a project schedule tasks and timelines in the context of an appraisal or disposal activity including updating monitoring tools to track progress status.
