This is a statewide position and would report to the nearest DHW location. This position will support the Healthy Connections Value Care Program, Medicaid’s first value-based care arrangement in which value care organizations are held accountable for improving outcomes and meeting cost targets in exchange for an ability to share in savings. This position will provide programmatic support to the current HCVC program and assist in the development of new value-based care initiatives. We are seeking individuals with knowledge of value-based care arrangements, policy interpretation and development, program development and implementation, and contract development and monitoring.The ideal candidate will have experience and/or knowledge in healthcare, project management, quality, and compliance. We are seeking an individual who is adept at policy interpretation, analysis and development, contract development, and tracking critical details for the value-based care initiatives.This position will report to the Program Manager and will work closely with colleagues throughout the Division, as well as with external stakeholders.The Division of Medicaid provides healthcare coverage and services to promote the social, economic, behavioral, and physical health for over 300,000 Idahoans. Typically gained by at least one year experience working in a business setting developing training materials, reports, policy and/or procedure manuals, written interpretations of law, rules, or policies, or any related background which would be considered similar.Experience providing technical program assistance to staff. Typically gained by at least one year of experience providing technical assistance to staff in a business setting which could include formal and informal assignments to assist, mentor or train new staff.Preferred Experience:Good knowledge of healthcare, reimbursement methodologies, and managed care. Typically gained by at least two (2) years of experience related to healthcare in a public or private organization which included policy interpretation and evaluation; contract review and interpretation; and understanding state rules and regulations for health-related programs.Good knowledge of health and human service programs. Typically gained by at least two years of professional experience developing, evaluating, supporting, and/or administering health and human service programs.
