Job Description:
Opportunity for a Chartered Accountant:
MARS is partnering with a forward-thinking team to make a positive impact in the health and wellness industry.
* Manage month-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries.
* Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare and lodge compliance reports, including BAS and Payroll Tax.
* Develop and manage budgets that align with business goals.
* Assist with audits and support tax compliance efforts.
* Maintain financial records with precision and confidentiality.
About You:
Hold a Bachelor's degree and CA/CPA qualification.
4+ years of experience in public practice (audit, tax, advisory) with expertise in financial reporting and budgeting.
Experience with inventory management accounting is advantageous.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel, with Xero being beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional organisational skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Requirements:
* Experience in a Big 4 or Mid-Tier chartered firm.
* Hybrid working model with 2-3 days in our Byron Bay or Brisbane office.
* Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or long-term visa holder.
