Job Description We are looking for experienced Seafood Process Workers to join a dynamic team in East Devonport, TAS. What You'll Do: As a Seafood Process Worker, your primary responsibilities will include: Filleting fish with precision and skill Weighing, cleaning, and processing fish and/or shellfish Grading, marking, and inspecting seafood for quality Performing tasks such as draining, tailing, pickling, crumbing, and cooking seafood Operating equipment for fish and shellfish chilling, sealing, and packaging Using a can closure machine and performing bulk packaging Completing cold storage chiller and freezer operations Documenting and recording processing activities as required Handling additional duties such as trimming, heading, and packing in standard containers Benefits: $29.73 per hour plus penalty rates for overtime and varied shifts Consistent work schedule with the potential for long-term employment Opportunity to gain further skills in the seafood processing industry Experience working with a team of professionals in a supportive environment Your Skills & Experience: To succeed in this role, you should have: Knife-hand and trimming experience in seafood or food processing Physical fitness and no previous injuries that could be aggravated in this role The ability to work long hours, sometimes with early or late shift start times Willingness to work in a factory environment that is cold, wet, and has a fish smell No seafood allergies, as this is essential for the role A strong work ethic and attention to detail Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
