About Your New Role:
The National Manager of Technology will lead the development and execution of the IT strategy for this large Australian company. This role will act as the conduit between the technology function and the business, serving as a trusted adviser to the senior leadership team and board.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Corporate Strategy to ensure technology strategy supports corporate goals.
* Build long-term strategic plans for the technology function in consultation with business leaders to anticipate business needs.
* Analyse the existing IT environment to deliver maximum performance and value to the business.
* Represent the Technology function to stakeholders across operations.
* Oversee IT architecture, including future planning.
* Lead architectural governance initiatives, including technology standards, policies, and procedures.
* Drive continuous improvement throughout the Technology function while promoting best practices.
* Develop an integrated people, process, and technology plan to deliver optimum performance and increased human capability.
About You:
* Demonstrate competence in listed tasks, with experience in IT/technology leadership.
* Proven experience partnering with senior/executive-level executives, effectively challenging and influencing during interactions.
* Expertise in developing and executing an IT strategy for an enterprise-level organisation.
* Transformed a business enabling IT function into one operating as a 'business driver'.
* Well-rounded skills from various positions throughout an IT function.
* Prior experience managing architecture and sound working knowledge.
* Strategic thinker with curiosity for new technology applications.
* Defined communication style and corporate presence to relate to senior leaders and non-IT stakeholders.
