The Opportunity
At Infin8 care, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide an environment which encourages and enables residents to remain independent. Our Personal Care Workers (PCW) are highly visible and play a key role in helping us achieve this.
Working closely with and supported by the clinical, lifestyle and hospitality teams, you will work with limited direct supervision and be responsible for delivering resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner which enables residents to make choices and have control over their support needs.
About You
At Infin8care, we believe it is essential that you have a resident/customer centric approach, and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also:
* Demonstrate 1 year in the Australian Aged Care or disability Sector.
* Exhibit an excellent work ethic, ability to work in a team and follow set safety procedures at all times.
* Have excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
* Think on your feet ensuring our residents are the main focus as you will be making a difference to their lives every day! We want to have fun in our homes.
* Have a passion for making a difference to the elderly by being their personal carer, including building positive relationships with their families.
* Possess a very positive teamwork attitude; be on time, offer to help, be supportive, and be a fun team colleague that everyone loves to work with!
* Hold a certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR have completed 1st year nursing studies.
* Must have or the ability to obtain the industry compliance of NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
