Under the general supervision of the RCMP Liaison Officer (LO) and by respecting the RCMP Policies & Guidelines:- performs a wide range of operational, administrative, and clerical support activities to support the LO and/or other RCMP officer(s);- facilitates the effective and efficient operation of the RCMP Liaison Office, which is responsible for police cooperation with several countries within its geographic area;- exercises a considerable level of initiative and discretion;- handles and processes sensitive, classified, and urgent material and information; analyses and reports on critical elements of intelligence;- and performs some duties normally carried out by the LO.Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, language* and experience.Candidates must clearly demonstrate when applying to the position how they meet each of these essential qualifications.*Language will be assessed further during the process.
