Job Title: Administration Officer
Role Summary
The Administration Officer will perform a range of administrative tasks to support the educational services provided to students. This includes coordinating and supporting other education support class staff, assisting teachers with specific support tasks, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Admin & Finance Duties:
* Perform reception duties, including operating the main telephone and welcoming visitors to the school.
* Assist teaching staff and students as required.
* Support student data maintenance, including enrolments, exits, and changes using CASES 21 and Compass.
* Process Accounts Receivable and Payable, including invoicing and receipting camps, excursions, curriculum contributions, and other school payments.
First Aid and Other Duties:
* Perform first aid as required.
* Assist with check and restock of school first aid kits/supplies.
* Assist with monitoring expiry dates of first aid materials (includes EpiPens, Asthma pumps).
* Coordinate the purchasing and stocktaking of office supplies and stationery.
* Support other office staff to ensure the office runs smoothly.
* Attend professional development to stay up-to-date with current responsibilities.
* Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective administration procedures.
* Maintain the school's records system, including archiving, computerised student, staff, and school records.
* Coordinate the implementation of purchasing procedures.
* Support OHS policies and procedures (including induction).
